US Army C.O.R.E. Fitness App
Augmented reality for immersive fitness training
Challenge: New recruits fail to keep daily routines that bridge their academic athleticism to the demands of US Army basic training.
Strategy: Help young people stay active and physically fit. By grounding the app in the idea of 'fitness as play', we appeal to their interests and turn obligation to exercise into a fun workout experience. Each game-like mission has a unique plot that challenge the protagonist to achieve each pillar of the C.O.R.E. [Challenge, Overcome, Recover, Evolve] platform.
Role: Focused on the app functionality and technology, I led a team to define the product platform, opportunities with AR vendors, and our main feature set.
